Join Andrea and world acclaimed clarinetist Seunghee Lee in Hong Kong for the groundbreaking, philanthropic "Concert for Cause Gala" - his first concert ever in Asia. The concert will be held Friday, May 29, 2015 at 8:00 pm HKT at the HK Jockey Club Amphitheater, Hong Kong Academy for Performing Arts, Wan Chai. The concert will feature timeless masterpieces of cinema music, with special arrangements by Maestro Andrea Morricone for clarinet, piano and orchestra including a new arrangement of the "Love Theme" from Academy Award-winning film Cinema Paradiso. This masterful new arrangement is in celebration of the film's 25th Anniversary and the score that earned Andrea and his father Ennio the coveted BAFTA award for Best Original Film Score. All proceeds from this unique concert will benefit the following Hong Kong charities: Arts with Disability Association, New Sight Congo, Missione Possibile, Children’s Medical Foundation, and The Mekong Club.

Andrea Morricone's music, the theme song of EXPO 2015 MILANO "La Forza del Sorriso" with lyrics by Andrea Bocelli, will be performed at the EXPO. This "best of the world in a single place" exposition is dedicated to "Feeding the Planet, Energy For Life." EXPO 2015 MILANO will be held in Milan, Italy from May 1 through October 31, 2015. Join Andrea for his upcoming “Cinematic Visions - New Arrangements of Timeless Masterpieces” concert at the renowned BROAD STAGE at the Santa Monica College Performing Arts Center in Santa Monica on Friday, February 13, 2015 at 8pm. He will conduct the Amor Symphonic Orchestra and Choir and will be joined by Children’s Choirs from the Immaculate Heart of Mary School and Holy Family School. The concert will feature the Maestro’s newest arrangements of some of the greatest films scores of all time, including “The Godfather” and a suite of themes from the film “Cinema Paradiso.” This concert, his first of 2015, promises to deliver a dynamic musical experience and offers an extraordinary prelude to the St. Valentine’s Day weekend.

Andrea Morricone to Conduct "Christmas Concert 2014" at St. Mark's Episcopal Church, Glendale, California
Maestro Andrea Morricone and the Amor Symphonic Orchestra are scheduled to perform "Christmas Concert 2014" at St. Mark's Episcopal Church in Glendale, California. For this evening concert the Maestro will collaborate with FIL-AM Artists: Christopher Pete Avendano, tenor; Matthew John Ignacio, cellist and Children’s Choir from Immaculate Heart of Mary School and Holy Family School in a performance that will feature several world premier pieces arranged and/or composed by Andrea. The concert will highlight individual vocal performances as well as the delightful Children's Choir, and provide an exquisite musical launch into the holiday season. Concert is open to the public and all are welcome.

Andrea Morricone Participates in Official Press Conference for Fondazione Pro Musica E Arte Sacra, Rome, Italy.
Andrea will participate in the official Conferenza Stampa (Press Conference) to launch the XIII Festival Internazionale di Musica e Arte Sacra (13th Festival International of Music and Sacred Arts) at the extraordinary Palazzo Cesi in Rome, Italy. The Palazzo Cesi is located at Via della Conciliazione n. 51.
At the Festival there will be a presentation of Andrea's CD, L'Inno Alla Fede For Oboe and Strings, recently recorded in Los Angeles. Also during the ceremony a DVD of Andrea rehearsing and conducting the final take of L'Inno Alla Fede with a 30-piece orchestra composed of LA's finest string players including famous oboist Tom Boyd and First Violin Katia Popov, presently the Concertmaster of the Hollywood Bowl Orchestra. The piece was recorded and mixed in the famous Moroccan Room at The Village Recording Studio, one of LA's most renowned and sought after studios.
Andrea will conduct at the special 10th anniversary concert "The Musical Seasons at the Constantine Palace" in St. Petersburg, Russia. The concert will also feature Federico Mondelci, saxophone (Italy), Chiara Taigi, soprano (Italy), ensemble "Terem Quartet," Svetlana Moskalenko, soprano, and Maria Safariants, violin. As special guest composer and conductor Andrea will conduct his “Anthem for Russia" for Saxophone Alto, Violin and Orchestra, composed for the occasion.
Maria Safariants, International Music Festival "Palaces of St. Petersburg" and Gennady Yavnik, the International Charitable Foundation "Constantine" have collaborated to produce the gala concert. "The Musical Seasons at the Constantine Palace" is not only a remarkable musical event, but also one of the most prestigious contemporary social events in St. Petersburg. The reception will be held in the exquisite Blue Hall of the Constantine Palace. Guests of honor anticipated include the heads of the state, political representatives, the city's business elite, as well as creative and scientific intelligentsia. Join RAI 1 (Italian national television) and Maestro Andrea Morricone at the CONI "100 Years" event"Lo Spettacolo dello Sport" to be broadcast direct via RAI 1. Maestro Andrea Morricone will conduct the orchestra for Andrea Bocelli's performance of the Italian national anthem.
