Andrea Morricone will conduct "Timeless Masterpieces of Cinema Music" with internationally acclaimed clarinetist Seunghee Lee in a groundbreaking, philanthropic "Concert for Cause Gala" on Friday, May 29, 2015, 8pm HKT, his first concert ever in Asia. The concert will be held at the HK Jockey Club Amphitheater, Hong Kong Academy for Performing Arts, Wan Chai. This unique concert will feature special arrangements by Maestro Andrea Morricone for clarinet, piano and orchestra including a new arrangement of the "Love Theme" from Academy Award-winning film Cinema Paradiso. This masterful new arrangement is in celebration of the film's 25th Anniversary and the score that earned Andrea and his father Ennio the coveted BAFTA award for Best Original Film Score. All proceeds from the concert will benefit the following Hong Kong charities: Arts with Disability Association, New Sight Congo, Missione Possibile, Children’s Medical Foundation, and The Mekong Club.

Andrea Morricone will bring his “Cinematic Visions - New Arrangements of Timeless Masterpieces” concert to the renowned BROAD STAGE in Santa Monica on Friday, February 13, 2015 at 8pm. He will conduct the Amor Symphonic Orchestra and Choir and will be joined by Children’s Choirs from the Immaculate Heart of Mary School and Holy Family School. The concert will feature the Maestro’s newest arrangements of some of the greatest films scores of all time, including “The Godfather” and a suite of themes from the film “Cinema Paradiso.” The concert is the first of 2015 for the Maestro, and promises to deliver a dynamic musical experience - and offers an extraordinary prelude to the St. Valentine’s Day weekend.

Maestro Andrea Morricone and the Amor Symphonic Orchestra's Christmas Concert 2014 was an unforgettable evening of music in the sacred, beautiful St. Mark's Episcopal Church in Glendale, California. For this evening concert the Maestro collaborated with FIL-AM Artists: Christopher Pete Avendano, tenor; Matthew John Ignacio, cellist and Children’s Choir from Immaculate Heart of Mary School and Holy Family School in a powerful performance that featured several world premier pieces arranged and/or composed by Andrea, including Canzona Filipina. The concert, regarded as a "celestial summit of original music compositions" by the Asian Journal, was a dramatic and exhilarating musical launch into the light of the holiday season.
At the Social World Film Festival held on December 11th in Los Angeles at the Italian Cultural Institute (IIC), Andrea was awarded the "Golden Spike Award." Andrea was chosen as this year's recipient for his commitment in the field of composition for cinematic music in masterpieces such as "New Cinema Paradiso" (shared with his father Ennio Morricone) and "L'Industriale" (The Entrepreneur) by the great master Giuliano Montaldo. The Festival, now in its third consecutive year, is hosted and sponsored by the Italian Cultural Institute.
Andrea presented his latest "Hymn of Faith" (L'Inno All Fede) at the official L'Arte Salva L'Arte Conferenza Stampa (Press Conference). The Press Conference launched the XIII Festival Internazionale di Musica e Arte Sacra (13th Festival International of Music and Sacred Arts) at the extraordinary Palazzo Cesi in Rome, Italy.
At the Festival Andrea made a world premiere presentation of his new CD, L'Inno Alla Fede for Oboe and Strings, recently recorded in Los Angeles. Also during the ceremony a DVD of Andrea rehearsing and conducting the final take of "Hymn of Faith" with a 30-piece orchestra composed of LA's finest string players including famous oboist Tom Boyd and First Violin Katia Popov, Concertmaster of the Hollywood Bowl Orchestra, was played for audiences. The video was was recorded and mixed in the famous Moroccan Room at The Village Recording Studio, one of LA's most renowned and sought after studios.

Andrea delivered a dramatic and memorable performance at the special 10th anniversary concert "The Musical Seasons at the Constantine Palace" in St. Petersburg, Russia. The concert featured Federico Mondelci, saxophone (Italy), Chiara Taigi, soprano (Italy), ensemble "Terem Quartet," Svetlana Moskalenko, soprano, and Maria Safariants, violin. As special guest composer and conductor Andrea conducted his “Anthem for Russia" for Saxophone Alto, Violin and Orchestra, composed for the occasion.

On June 23rd, an afternoon rich in culture, music, and spirituality, Maestro Andrea Morricone delivered a magnificent, world premier performance of his latest pieces, including Ave Maria, as well as new renditions of some of his earlier works, He was joined at "Apoxiomeno 2014" by and conducted renown flautist Roberto Fabbriciani and pianist Isabella Turso in the standing-room-only basilica courtyard.
